Au pair Contract (AU1 Application form)

If an au pair wish to apply for a residence permit in Denmark, both au pair and host family in Denmark must fill out and sign this document - AU1 Application form.

We highly recommend host families and au pairs to read the document carefully, before it should be signed, as it clarifies many aspects of the au pair regulations in Denmark.

Both, au pair and the host family have access to the relevant application forms (Step 4). You can choose between an online form and a print form. All application forms contain careful instructions on how to complete the form and what kind of documents you must submit along with the form.
