Requirements for au pairs in Belgium
18-25 years old
Can't be married and have children
Basic knowledge of at least one language: Dutch, French or German
Be able to pay for travel expenses
Never had a work permit B in Belgium before
Must prove that you have attended school up to the age of 17
Visa 1-3 months (VISA C),
3-12 months (VISA D).
Requirements for host families in Belgium
Have at least one child under the age of 13
Provide au pair with own bedroom and all meals
Provide au pair with pocket money from 450 EUR / month
Au pair duties cannot exceed 20 hours / week
Au pair stay: 12 months
Be a Dutch, French or German speaking family and willing to be part of a cultural exchange
May not have family ties with the au pair
Be a different nationality than the Au Pair's nationality
