Requirements for au pairs in Denmark
18-30 years old
Can't be married and have children
Basic knowledge of at least one language: Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, German or English
Be able to pay for travel expenses (EU/EEA or Switzerland)
Education background: completed 8 - 9 years of schooling
Requirements for host families in Denmark
Have at least one child under the age of 18
Provide au pair with own bedroom and all meals
Provide au pair with pocket money from 4700 DKK / month
Au pair duties cannot exceed 5 hours / day and 30 hours / week
Au pair stay: 24 months
Can afford to cover the au pair's flight expenses (non-EU)
Be a Danish speaking family and willing to be part of a cultural exchange
Pay a sum of 18215 DKK (2022 level), which covers the state's expenses for Danish tuition.
Not be related to the au pair
Be a different nationality than the Au Pair's nationality
