Requirements for au pairs in Iceland

18-25 years old
Can't be married and have children
Good knowledge of English or Icelandic language
Be able to pay for travel expenses

Requirements for host families in Iceland

Have at least one child under the age of 18
Provide au pair with own bedroom and all meals
Provide au pair with pocket money from 15,000 ISK / week
Au pair duties cannot exceed 5 hours / day and 30 hours / week
Au pair stay: 12 months
Be an Icelandic speaking family and willing to be part of a cultural exchange
May not have family ties with the au pair
Be a different nationality than the Au Pair's nationality
