Conditions for the Au Pair
18-31 years old |
Can't be married and have children |
Basic knowledge of English language |
Be able to pay for travel expenses |
Only a recognized au pair agency can submit an application on behalf of an au pair. The au pair agency has to be recognized by the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND). More information of Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) for citizens of non-EU countries and EU/EEA or Swiss citizens. |
Conditions for the Host Family
Have at least one child under the age of 18 |
Provide au pair with own bedroom and all meals |
Provide au pair with pocket money from 340 EUR / month |
Au pair duties cannot exceed 8 hours / day and 30 hours / week |
Au pair stay: 12 months |
Be a Dutch speaking family and willing to be part of a cultural exchange |
Be a different nationality than the au pair's nationality |
