Requirements for au pairs in Sweden
18-30 years old
Can't be married and have children
Basic knowledge of Swedish or English language
Be able to pay for travel expenses
Visa. EU/EEA citizens no need a residence permit for staying in Sweden for more than three months. Non-EU citizens need to obtain a work permit.
Requirements for host families in Sweden
Have at least one child under the age of 18
Provide au pair with own bedroom and all meals
Provide au pair with pocket money from 5250 SEK / month
Au pair duties cannot exceed 25 hours / week
Au pair stay: 12 month
Be a Swidish speaking family and willing to be part of a cultural exchange
Be a different nationality than the au pair's nationality
